State Senator Julie Gonzales, D-Denver, is set to introduce legislation that will solidify Colorado as a sanctuary state. Gonzales already sponsored legislation to provide sanctuary to criminal illegal aliens at taxpayer expense this session, so it comes as no surprise she intends to extend protections for criminal aliens.
The bill would ban sheriffs from holding illegal immigrants at Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s request and block local police from being deputized as ICE agents.
Proponents of the bill claim it is not a sanctuary measure, but that is a bald-faced lie.

Unbelievable. How is it that people who are actively breaking the law are treated better, and receive a free pass for their criminal acts, than those who are law abiding citizens? Has it been considered the amount of money even spent on illegals, and where that money could actually be going in order to best serve the citizens of this state and country? I do NOT give permission to be taxed just for that money to go towards aiding and abetting people who are here illegally. They are breaking the laws In place and should face the legal consequences as such.
