Denver, CO – Governor Jared Polis’ statewide COVID-19 shutdown might have led to an increase in at-home cardiac arrest deaths, according to a new study.
The Colorado Sun reported on the study that shows Colorado’s COVID-19 shutdown likely had unintended and deadly consequences.
The study found that:
“Out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) were 2.2-fold higher in 2020 compared with averaged historical controls over the same 2-week period.”

That is an alarming increase.
When Polis placed Coloradans under house arrest with his “Stay at Home” order, he also shut down elective medical procedures. This and his alarming rhetoric undoubtedly led to an increase in people’s fear of going to the hospital for necessary medical care.
Dr. Brian Stauffer, the head of cardiology at Denver Health, believes many people tried to brush off heart attacks to avoid going to the hospital.
Considering Polis told people to avoid going to the hospital unless absolutely necessary, Dr. Stauffer’s hypothesis is possible, if not likely.
The study came to a similar conclusion.
“A review at the patient level is essential to obtain a more granular understanding of these data. However, in the interim, providers should consider the unintended consequence of the pandemic response in the context of chronic and emergent cardiovascular disease. One possibility suggested by our data is that patients with acute coronary syndromes are not presenting for care, resulting in an increase in OHCA.”

If this is the case, then Polis’ handling of the COVID-19 pandemic by arbitrarily shutting down businesses and ordering everyone to stay at home resulted in unnecessary deaths.

Today’s data for COVID in Colorado per Fox 31: Cases 53,901. Deaths among cases (whatever that means: 1900. That comes to 0.035 for a death rate!
Now do we REALLY have to have a mask mandate for something that small? I don’t think so.
“Unintended” consequences? Does that mean Polis and his staff were unable to foresee the consequences of their ill-advised decisions? I think so.

What’s going on there is a very well thought out strategic attack on not only Colorado, but in other leftist dominated areas as well.
It is a psychological warfare beta test to see how society will tolerate such unconstitutional authoritarian orders and tyranny…priming those who are unaware living in fear to believe leftist and globalist vaccines are the only solution to their largely manufactured crisis.
Problem-Reaction-Solution and order out of chaos and fear to the point of coercion and force. Remember, If they have to force vaccines or any medical procedures it isn’t a cure and is quite to the contrary.
