Hickenlooper Kills More Dreams, Creates Other Problems for Democrats

Denver, CO – The U.S. Senate race in Colorado is kind of boring, even with incumbent U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) considered the most vulnerable Republican in the nation.

Gardner is being challenged by 15, wait, 14, wait, 11, wait, now less than 10 Democrats for the seat. There is a socialist who many people consider a “moderate” named John Hickenlooper in the race, as well. Apparently, this Hickenlooper fellow even ran for President this year, but no one remembers that.

So why isn’t this race sexy…yet? Probably because everyone knows the outcome of the Democrat primary. Hickenlooper will win. Also, Cory Gardner is laying “low” while trying to quietly make appearances across the state in the grassroots fashion that helped him win in 2014. So, really, no one is paying attention to this race, and we expect this one to be quiet until March 2020 when the Democrats and all their dark money groups flood the airwaves with ads like it’s October-November 2020 already. Some readers may want to have their remotes handy to push the mute button.

The latest candidate to drop out is the only sitting elected official – State Senator Angela Williams. That brings the grand total to 11 people who have dropped out of the U.S. Senate race here in Colorado.

Of course, there are still seven left, including Hickenlooper, but the only one who has any name recognition above zero is former Colorado Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff. Romanoff doesn’t have the money to compete, nor Hickenlooper’s name recognition. The problem for Romanoff, and why he won’t drop-out is because he is a perennial candidate in need of a job. It is likely that Romanoff is going to add another loss to his vita.

State Senator Angela Williams (front left) and State Rep. James Coleman (front right) are all smiles in this picture.

Well, so what if another Democrat dropped out of the U.S Senate race? Everyone knows Hickenlooper is going to be the Democrat nominee. Well, Angela Williams, in her announcement, said she is going to seek re-election. There’s one problem, current State Representative James Coleman has already filed for the seat, raised decent money, and stacked up some endorsements.

It is going to be a nasty primary, which does not happen that often with Democrats. Williams, by reputation, is pretty ruthless at the Capitol and with her campaigns. Coleman allegedly supports school choice, so we assume the unions will be taking their lead pipes out of storage. Grab the popcorn!

Hickenlooper has destroyed another Democrat’s dream of higher office. Wait, while we shed a tear.

The Democrats, especially in Colorado, are hypocrites. We keep hearing that they’re all for people of color and women. However, when push comes to shove, they seem to choose the old, rich white guy. In Colorado, that’s going to be Hickenlooper.

The other U.S Senator, Michael Bennet (D-CO), is another old rich white guy. Bernie and Uncle Joe are also in the top tier of presidential candidates.

Basically, the Democrats support the rich white guys (who knew?).

  1. You were doing well in your summation of the turds seeking office in CO until you fell into the “reverse?” racist trap of hating on “ rich old white guys”. Recognize your faux pas and don’t do this again, be better than the msm.

  2. NO ONE IN COLORADO CAN STAND HICKENLOOPER SO WHY WOULD YOU ERRONEOUSLY CONCLUDE THAT HE’LL WIN??? NAME RECOGNITION CAN ALSO WORK AGAINST YOU!!

  3. No listen Hickenlooper. He hid in the basement when the rest of the legislature pretended to listen. And then he said he wouldn’t. Be a good senator. How about no senator hickenlooper?
