Denver, CO – A Honduran man charged with sexual assault of a child was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after Denver Jail released him.
Celin Villeda-Orellana, 33, entered the country illegally (multiple times), according to ICE officials.
As a sanctuary city, Denver refuses to honor ICE detainers unless a warrant is signed and issued by a judge. This means ICE is often unable to take multiple offenders like Villeda-Orellana into custody before their release.
In this instance, Denver Police gave ICE less than two and a half hours notice before the release of a man facing child sexual assault charges.
ICE believes Villeda-Orellana re-entered the country after a previous deportation as a fraudulent family unit with a child.
Operatives from Operation Noble Guardian took Villeda-Orellana into custody at Denver International Airport earlier this month.
How can children and their families receive justice when Denver blatantly refuses to honor legal detainers placed on child sexual assault suspects? The short answer is, they cannot.
Sanctuary laws that provide extra protection too undocumented immigrants over law-abiding citizens are dangerous to communities.
How many of these accused violent offenders are released and commit other heinous crimes?
There are few details regarding charges for the sexual assault of a child. The Denver District Attorney’s Office says the sexual assault case has been reopened.
Our question is, why was the case closed in the first place?

Makes you proud to live in Denver, doesn’t it?
Well, it certainly makes me thankful that I live in Colorado Springs, which is still reasonably conservative and, overall, a much better place to live — or visit. In today’s unsavory BLM (Burn, Loot , and Murder) atmosphere, who actually “visits” Denver? Years ago, I would make the relatively short trip up to Denver for museums, cultural and sports activities, etc. Now? Forget it — I won’t go near the place! Besides, Colorado Springs tourism is currently rebounding strongly (including hotel occupancy rates and numerous new tourist attractions) — and much quicker than had been anticipated during the “pan[ic]demic. Make no mistake, Colorado Springs is the tourism capital of Colorado — not burned out, graffitied Denver, nor uber-liberal, elitist, overpriced, unlivable Boulder. Just sayin’.

CA 2.0. Look at the ‘hell hole’ CA has become, 10s of thousands are leaving the state, this is CO’s future.

Tired of these sickos coming to our State. My great great grandparents Settled in the SW part in the late 1800’s. I am 4th generation Colorado. It Was a beautiful Wild West state. Shame of what it is becoming.

can any one imagine that 50% of the population of Colorado support those who advocated, for a liberal/socialist agenda, which includes total government control, higher taxes, no accountability of elected aberrations, alternate lifestyles, including supporting pedophilia. How can these sheepeople look at their kids, grandchildren and support any of this. This is what the liberal/socialist party advocates, strives for. Then they set about hiding, stalling the information where one of these predators is released from one of their jails. Then add in the millions of your tax dollars to support, defend those who entered this sovereign nation with out permission, ( nationally it was 60, 000,000,000 dollars) yes 60 billion for your tax dollars), thus circumventing the process defined by our laws, a process that many families, grandparents, great grandparents, great grandparents followed to enter this country, this is a disgrace on their hard strife to get her, now those entering illegally just give us all the middle finger. When illegals enter some, maybe many are criminals, sexual deviants, as pedophile, is this what sheepeople want, if not stop voting for any liberal/socialist, this election will determine whether we keep the Republic, or fall into the pit of socialism, and all the deviants that come along with that. think, choose wisely
why is not the federal government, taking action on this organized crime? no state law, can supercede any federal law. only organized criminals, ignore the laws.
