During a military appreciation day and a time to recognize gold star families, Rep. Brianna Titone a transgender legislator from Arvada thought it was appropriate to turn the day of remembrance into a political stunt to highlight military members from the LGBTQ community.
Let us be clear, everyone who fought for our country should be thanked for their service, but this was clearly a stunt to virtue signal and grant special attention to a select few.
For what it’s worth, to those gold star families that had to witness this insensitive display from Titone, we are sorry. You deserve better.
