  1. I stopped watching NFL games the minute Caper-Neck started all the kneeling BS. I haven’t watched a single game since (four years, now?). It was actually very easy — I haven’t missed it one bit.

With what has happened this year (BLM crap on the jerseys and courts, etc.), I haven’t watched any NBA games, yet. I’ve decided they are not worthy of my time — I will not watch any NBA games.

I currently have been watching the Rockies baseball games; but, I’m not sure if I will continue. The broadcasts currently don’t include the National Anthem; so, I don’t know if they are playing it but “hiding” it so we can’t see if any unpatriotic “turncoats” are kneeling. However, before and during last night’s game, the announcers were all into the nonexistent social injustice crap. As far as I’m concerned, they should talk only about baseball and the specific game being played. If they continue talking about politics, I will stop watching. I’ve already done it for football and basketball, so I’m not making an idle threat.

If you feel like I do, just stop watching. The viewer broadcast numbers for the NFL and NBA have already dropped dramatically (which is really saying something when you consider the Chinese Virus has resulted in no live attendance — yet people are NOT watching at home). If we all stop watching and attending games (whenever that is available again), and boycott their advertisers, the revenues from ticket sales and radio/TV advertising will drop so much the NFL, NBA and MLB will not be able to pay the players’ salaries and they will simply go bankrupt. Maybe they will then begin to realize that it’s not these overpaid “social warrior” athletes that actually bring in the revenue — it’s WE THE PEOPLE — the paying fans that actually pay for everything. We control the power of the purse strings. Stop paying and they will have to stop playing (unless the players want to play for free!).

    1. i agree with you, their voice is no more important than mine. most of them are overpaid, and underperformed, very few are appreciative of their talents and consider themselves prima donnas, enti tled to everything. They probably could not hold a normal job! Take your platform, do good with it, but don’t try to shove it down our throats. Remember who buys the tickets, watches tv and purchases all the beers, parking and bobble heads. We don’t NEED it, you need us, and if you don’t it here, go back to Canada, Czechoslovakia, Brazil, Russia, China and all the other countries that won’t pay you what you are making here. All you are is an Athlete, you don’t provide a service, i.e. a Doctor, Fireman, Tile layer, house keeper, careers that are worked by many, aspired by few, but needed by all.

  2. I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO MY BRONCOS PLAYING I WAS EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW PLAYERS AND LOOKING TOWARD THE DISTRACTION FOOTBALL GIVES FROM THE DAILY DOSE OF POLITICAL C–P WE ARE GIVEN IN EVERYTHING WE DO. IT’S BEEN A TUFF YEAR I WON’T BE SUBJECTED TO MORE C–P ON SUNDAY AS WELL. I’M DONE LISTENING TO SOME OF THE MOST PRIVILAGED PEOPLE ON THE PLANET DISRESPECT THE FANS THAT WAY, PLAY BALL, DO YOUR POLITICS AFTER WORK. YOU CAN THEN DO SOMETHING TANGABLE THAT WILL REALLY HELP YOUR CAUSE , STOP GRANDSTANDING , LET US RESPECT YOUR TRUE CHARACTER, LET COLOR BE A THING OF THE PAST FOR YOURSELF AND WE WILL HONOR AND SUPPORT THAT. GOD BLESS ALL OF EVERY COLOR AND LET’S BE AMERICANS TOGETHER.

  3. As a Navy Veteran I pretty much stopped watching professional sports when they would not stand for the National Anthem. I do not sit if they can’t stand!

  4. Louie is spot on, I also stop watching as soon as the over paid, lazy prima donnas disrespected our country who has provided them with the opportunity to become what they are today. If they did not have an opportunity to play with a ball 97% of them would be either dead or in prison, well some did die, and some are in prison. They are the worst roll models for our youth, acting like gangsters, thinking they are above the law, no accountability, never held responsible for their stupid actions. Most give back nothing to society, especially groups that need help to feed, provide medicine to sick and starving children, same for the clowns in the media and hollyweird, it is all about take and no give back. The actions of the majority over shadows the few that do good for society, this is sad. I hope that all of their contracts to play with a ball has a clause stating no play, no pay, if not the owners of the so called teams are just as dumb. If people boycott the teams, and tell the products they hawk to go stick it, maybe some will get the message, simple economics 10. I hope that real Americans can boycott these clowns, let go watching these sport teams, use that time tomspend with their kids or work on the honeydo list

  5. The hypocrisy of these “alleged pro teams” is not only repulsive, it is a farce! Tim Tebow, was mocked, ridiculed, and basically kicked out of the N.arcissistic F.ootball L.eague, for simply giving praise to God!
The same nfl, that went on that phony staged players strike a few years back, actually condemned, spit on, pushed, and crossed stadium workers picket lines who had a “legitimate” strike!

Face it, they are damn self centered elitist snobs, who get paid to run around, play in the dirt, bounce a ball, throw a ball and they don’t give a DAMN about anyone else!

The truth is the leagues who support this terrorist group blm, are lying sacks of $hi+
If you can see people in the stands, or arena, how many inner city, blue collar, or struggling middle class families do you see? ZERO!!! why is that? The narcissistic players and owners don’t want them there! FACT!!!
Average cost for a pro football game or basketball game for a family of 4 is over $400! And these lying scumbags try to say blm?
Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a far-left, anarchist, Marxist Domestic Terrorist group, that aims to create false and divisive narratives of systemic racism, disrupt the nuclear family, smash capitalism, defund and murder the police and annihilate Western history!
    NOTHING MORE!

  6. I stopped watching when the Broncos marched with shirts which said “you are either with us or against us”. I decided then that the last people that would tell me what to think or do are pro athletes. All the teams, the Bowlens,Kroenkes, and Monforts and the commissioners of the 3 pro sports need to hear from the fans. My Tv package is cancelled, all my hats, shirts etc are thrown away and ticket purchases stopped. Stopped following pro sports and don’t miss it. Hopefully many fans will follow suit. Spending time reading, gardening, and at the gun range.

  7. Sports is nothing more then entertainment. I will not watch/participate or give a hoot who is playing. The owners could fix this by demanding the players that they are paid for by revenue and if they fail to respect flag protocol they will not be paid. Players are on the clock the moment they step foot on the playing field. Owners don’t all agree on political agendas, but they do care for the all mighty dollar. Take away the ability to fatten there pockets and this will change. I support a boycott on companies that advertise at/on major sporting events.

  9. I quit watching the NFL once the Craper-Ass stunt started to catch on. I never watched the NBA, I hate basketball. I love baseball and am severely disappointed that I will never again step inside a major league park. Hockey is off the list as well and I pray that NASCAR truly crashes and burns. Soccer has never been allowed in my house since it is a game popular in the most communistic/socialistic countries. All the over-paid spoiled brats that get paid millions to play boyhood games will hopefully end up in the unemployment lines. Maybe shooting events will be eventually televised.
