Sad but true: The inconvenient truth of the STEM tragedy

Kendrick Castillo – a true hero, that set an example for us all with his ultimate sacrifice.

We criticized disgraceful opportunist politicians Jason Crow and Michael Bennet for using the STEM tragedy to try to further their fervent anti-gun agenda. That’s why we’re going to keep this article short and to the point.

If you’re a reader who doesn’t think Breitbart is credible, you have to admit they bring up a tragic point: the biased MSM isn’t talking about the STEM Tragedy anymore. Yes, we want the victims and their families to heal, and you could make the argument that the MSM is protecting their privacy.

However, we know this isn’t true – the MSM voracious appetite for tragedy is unrelenting. We constantly hear about many tragedies like Parkland, Virginia Tech, and of course Columbine (That happened 20 years ago) as justification to confiscate citizens firearms. Unfortunately, the narrative is different with STEM and it just doesn’t fit the mantra of justifying a gun ban. Why you may ask?

Quite simply, a good guy with a gun saved lives here. Quite simply, heroic students like Kendrick Castillo stood up and fought the killers. The anti-gun zealots were not able to exploit this tragedy for their personal gain, and the students and the community wouldn’t let them. Do you remember the walkout by students? Do you remember the students saying this was not justification for gun confiscation? Sorry, no shills like David Hogg here – just heroes.

Again, this horrible tragedy couldn’t be used to promote an agenda. In fact, this tragedy makes the case for protecting our students – by any means necessary including armed security or teachers.

Sorry, MSM this doesn’t fit your narrative – but it is still important and we need to have honest conversations about protecting our kids. Don’t bury this story, and let’s work on saving lives.
