#StandWithICE Number 2: What You Should Know

Aurora, CO – The second #StandWithICE support rally begins tomorrow, September 21st, and is hosted by Michelle Malkin and Randy B. Corporon.

We expect a number of our readers to attend and therefore thought it pertinent to share some important safety information before Saturday.

Here is the description according to the Facebook event:

The Left is marching on the facility so it’s time to show up again. Join fellow patriots State Representative Patrick Neville, Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams, and Michelle Malkin at the Aurora ICE facility to show our support for the men and women who protect American sovereignty!

Details: Stand with ICE – Aurora Colorado Number 2 with Michelle Malkin

The Facebook event page also suggests bringing your own water, and hats or umbrellas for shade. Full details are also available on Malkin’s website.

The Aurora Police Department released a Public Service Announcement detailing safety measures they are taking, such as separating the rally from the protest.

The Aurora PD is providing an opt-in texting service to provide important information during the event. Attendees can text APDINFO to 474747 to sign up.

Police will be there in force to keep the peace.

Our Thoughts

The first #StandWithICE event was a roaring success, save a few clashes between pro-ICE supporters and anti-ICE protestors. Thankfully, anti-ICE protestors will be kept separate from the rally this time, allowing everyone to exercise their right to assembly and free speech peacefully.

The growing #StandWithICE movement is an incredible display of solidarity against open-borders demonstrations. Showing Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and contract employees that they have public support is a huge deal. Especially in Colorado, where the immigration debate is rapidly becoming a point of contention.

The support rally is scheduled two days after more than 100 masked protestors invaded the neighborhood of a GEO official. Entire communities are experiencing intimidation from protestors, now. These are families with young, impressionable children.

We refuse to let that behavior go unnoticed.

There is no room for intimidation in political discourse. We hope our readers will keep this in mind if they choose to attend this event or others like it in the future.

So, be prepared, be safe, and please be respectful of everybody. Most importantly, have fun meeting your fellow patriots!

Please share!

  1. If there is no room for intimidation, force the protestors to take their masks off. They should all be getting tickets for showing up like some wild west bandit with their faces purposefully covered in good weather. We do stand with ICE, but perhaps do bring up the important point that they’ve delayed deportations for far too long, and still accomplish far too little. How long until Americans get relief and can feel safe in our own homes again? We actually refuse to go to Arapahoe or Denver counties under normal circumstances. It’s just not safe over there anymore. Walk 4 or 5 blocks in the wrong direction and you’ll find yourself in another country or some dangerous location not safe for children.
