Washington, D.C., Dark Money on the Left Influenced Colorado’s 2018 Election

More DC money that rolled into Colorado elections has been uncovered…

Pueblo, CO We’ve written about “Dark Money” and its influence in Colorado Politics. Although the liberal media’s narrative is Republicans have all the “Dark Money,” we know that not to be the case. As we peel back layers of the onion, we find more and more funding sources for the left.

Cue the responses in the comments and from reporters: the Koch brothers even everything out! Not true, and their tiny imprint in Colorado is nothing compared to the piles of cash spent on campaigns by the left.

So, that brings us to this little gem we found on MSN from Politico of all sources! Yep, they did their job (while bashing Republicans and keeping the narrative alive), exposing a Washington, D.C. based group called the Sixteen Thirty Fund” that spent about $151 million influencing elections last cycle. $10 million of that was spent in Colorado on state races and ballot initiatives.

More than $10 million flowed from the Sixteen Thirty Fund into Colorado alone, to organizations supporting Democrats in state legislative races and campaigns for statewide office, as well as several more focused on expensive ballot measure campaigns.

Well, after the results of the last legislative session, this group clearly got their money’s worth, while Colorado suffers in the process.

We’ve written about dark money before. For instance, Presidential candidate Tom Steyer and the millions he’s poured into Colorado campaigns.

In other dark money news, the Democrats were supposedly trying to close the door on this practice and creating a witch hunt to go after Republicans. We argued that the Democrats utilized all their resources, and now it’s time to shut the door so Republicans can’t catch up.

This article is an interesting read. Especially how they fund causes through “social welfare groups.” The real benefit here is collecting voter data and profiles. They are helping to build even better campaign infrastructure for the left.

Another nugget is that a former Hillary Clinton staffer got funding from them to go after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Yeah, these people are pure evil.

This is what we’re up against, folks!

  1. Ignoring how inviolable universal natural Law must relate cause and effect, sure as truth hurts as smart in healthier response to learn just from experience of any adverse stimulus, sick, maladaptive ill will agenda dumb as democrat abuse of official authority, to exit stage left, out of it, in the cold, from such inherently unstable action by ignorant, spiteful, and queer misanthropic cause, shall be the effect of ultimate reaction.
    Just wait.
