Colorado Planned Parenthood Received $2 to $5 Million Forgivable Paycheck Protection Program Loan

Denver, CO – According to the U.S. Small Business Association, the Colorado Planned Parenthood received a $2 to $5 million forgivable Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan.

Federal Paycheck Protection Program loans were intended to enable small businesses to keep employees on their payroll during the COVID-19 shutdowns. Not-so-small companies like Planned Parenthood were also eligible for these loans.

Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood applied for a loan of between $2 and $5 million for 400 employees.

This federal money gives Planned Parenthood more leeway for spending on other services such as abortion (murdering unborn babies).

Worse still, PPP loans are forgivable.

That’s right. If Planned Parenthood meets requirements, their $2 to $5 million loan is forgivable. If it is not forgiven, the interest rate for the loan is ONLY ONE PERCENT. That interest rate is far lower than loans usually offered to businesses.

Forgiven or not, the federal government is funding Planned Parenthood in Colorado and other states. Without a doubt, this funding benefits the company’s ability to perform abortions.
