Jefferson County Public Health Sued Bandimere Speedway – Again

Denver, CO – Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) sued Bandimere Speedway – again. The health department already sued Bandimere Speedway over their 4th of July fireworks show.

This time, JCPH sued the speedway for violating social distancing and caps on attendees. Bandimere Speedway hosted a “Stop the COVID Chaos” rally attended by approximately 5,500 people.

Many Coloradans are fed up with Governor Jared Polis and unelected bureaucrats, like those at JCPH, telling them how to live their lives.

Bandimere Speedway is also involved in its own lawsuit against Polis’ mandates. In fact, unelected JCPH Executive Director, Mark B. Johnson (who lives in Boulder County and makes over $230,000 per year plus benefits) is also named in a lawsuit filed by Bandimere Speedway. Attorney Randy Corporon represents them.

Representative Patrick Neville, who helped host the rally on September 1, drew this comparison to Denver’s “mostly peaceful” protests.

“If they (county/state) come back and are very punitive on Bandimere for having what was a peaceful protest, yet there were vandals that were throwing Molotov cocktails that were totally let off the hook (during BLM protests),” Neville told Denver7 this week.

So, unelected bureaucrats at JCPH continue to rule arbitrarily over Jefferson County residents with an iron fist.

  1. they do not care, the county commissioners need to fire this person, but of the 3 commissioners 1 is a liberal/socialist, put in office by big money, elected by those that like the heel of socialism on their back, the other is termed limited, may be a democrat, if there is one left, who probably has his arm twisted behind his back by those in the state liberal/socialist party. Then there is a Repub. seeking reelection, who might vote to kick the boulder plant out, but is in a quandary as to what to do in view of the confused voters out there who seem to like being controlled by liberal/socialist, and if so moved would be out voted. So what to do stand on principles and not get elected or wait until the election results in Nov. for their seat as well as the termed seat, I wonder what the voters want socialism or “We the people, I worry

  2. If king Polis and his health department thugs think this is going to make Coloradans want to vote for Joe Biden in November, I am not sure they are going to get it. Most Coloardans have had it with the tyranny. It was clearly visible on the faces of all those beautiful patriots who attended the speedway event minus any face diapers.
