Today, The House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee is hearing a bill that would lower the voting age to 16 for school district elections.

  1. Teenagers do Tide Pod challenges. This shows that politicians are dumber than the teenagers. We’ve known this for a long time, but now you clowns have found that rare level of S T U P I D.

  2. They already have a voice, their parents. There are plenty of laws restricting their rights because they are deemed not mature enough to make proper decisions about their health and well being.

  3. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!! Just another bunch of crap from the democrstics!!

  4. Letting 16 yr. olds vote for school district elections, or any elections for that matter, is fraught with problems, not the least of which is that 16 yr. olds don’t know what they are doing.

  5. Kids making their own rules. What could go wrong right? Teenagers have, and will continue, to make the best and most informed decisions for themselves.
