Dem Rep. Galindo Resigns, Democrats have major problems

No Rochelle, this ISN’T a tiny problem, it’s a MAJOR problem…

According to pretty much every news organization across Colorado, State Representative Rochelle “I’m Being Recalled” Galindo (D – HD50) has resigned.  Of course, this is the same tactic Evie Hudak (D – SD19) used in 2013 to avoid being recalled and preventing citizens from replacing her with someone who better represents their district.

But as CBS Denver and Colorado Public Radio report, Galindo has a lot more problems than Hudak.  In fact, Gallindo is being accused of sexual assault by someone who worked on her campaign (We bet Elizabeth Warren is regretting that support). But Galindo is not the first Democrat to face these types of charges, in fact, she’s just the latest incarnation of a repeating theme going back years.

So as Democrats project and point fingers at Republicans, let’s rewind the tape:

Exit the Editor

  • Former State Rep. Steve Lebsock (D – Thornton), first State Rep expelled from the House in 100 years over allegations of sexual harassment.
  • Former State Senator Daniel Kagan (D – Cherry Hills), resigned because he liked to use the woman’s bathroom at the State Capitol whilst women were in there.
  • Current State Rep Jovan Melton (D – Aurora) who was charged twice with assault/sexual assault. Had a restraining order filed against him, and got more than just a slap on the hand with a lot of community service and probation.
  • Former State Rep. Paul Rosenthal (D – Denver) that faced allegations of sexually harassing men, and using his staff to try to get a date with another man, lost a Primary because that’s how the Dems tried to sweep this one under the carpet.
  • Powerful Democratic lobbyist Benjamin Waters, being accused of sexual harassment by Dem State Senator Jessie Danielson.
  • Vice President Joe Bidenjust throwing this one in here for good measure…

Do you see a pattern here?  We’re pretty sure these AREN’T the type of people we want influencing public policy here in Colorado.  But this seems to be the type of people that the Democrats choose to run again and again.

It’s not just that we’ve seen an extreme-far-left tilt here in Colorado, but we’ve seen a serious decline in the caliber of people the Democrats put in power – that says a lot because politicians were never accused of having the best reputations, to begin with.

This need to stop, we need to elect good people – and maybe recall the bad ones…

  1. IF their Reproductive Organ is the most important, and CONTROLLING factor in their decision making processes, does anybody ‘fee’ that persons judgement ma be clouded by an Agenda rather than SERVICE to their Community, State, or Federal PUBLIC SERVICE?

The Constitution and the BILL OF RIGHTS are there to tell all 3 branches of government what the ROLES OF EACH PERSON are.

The BILL OF RIGHTS were added to State ABSOLUTE RESTRICTS on what avenues politicians, judges and bureaucrats COULD NOT VIOLATE.
