House Speaker KC Becker has come out with her long teased bill to attack TABOR and take more of your money.
Her proposal will permanently eliminate taxpayer refunds.
If approved by the legislature, then you the voters will be forced to protect TABOR at the ballot… again.
What will the government stealing more of your money help them accomplish? Well… according to Becker, nothing.
As reported in the Colorado Sun, Becker said it wouldn’t solve the state‘s intractable financial challenges, and that’s it’s not going to fix any long term issues.
Clearly, Becker believes the government needs a blank check to raise your taxes whenever they see fit.
The proposal has “bipartisan” support. Sen. Kevin Priola (so not really bipartisan) sat next to Becker as he drooled at the thought of joining with the Democrats to take more of your money, to spend it on things like mandatory gay sex education for your children.
House Republican Leader Patrick Neville hit back at Priola and Democrats in a release stating:
“It’s clear what is happening here. Democrats can’t pay for all of their empty promises made in the last election, so now they want to permanently eliminate your tax refunds to pay for their expensive programs. It is egregious that the Democrats want to forever take away your consent on what is done with your tax dollars.”
Assistant Republican leader, Kevin Van Winkle agreed and pointed out, “The Democrats say need more money to fund their projects, yet we had a billion dollar surplus last year and another 1.2 billion dollar surplus this year. Apparently, more is never enough.”
Priola pushed back with a hissy fit saying this is the middle ground and that the state has fallen behind on keeping up with a growing state’s needs.
Someone needs to warn Rep. Priola that Republican voters don’t appreciate politicians stealing their hard-earned paycheck.
So get ready readers. If we don’t push back against this during the session, then we risk higher taxes and less control.
The Democrats are trying to destroy Colorado. This is just another step in that direction. Tabor is for our protection and we must fight for it.
Nobody is going to resist and nobody is going to get out of their comfy chair to do anything but comply. People have been gutted of all intestinal fortitude and are now trained in compliance to their masters. It will be law soon that you must do Jumping jacks when your masters demand it and you will do so. A civilization that allows their freedom to be taken without resistance deserves none and a civilization that allows pedo’s to teach your children to be gay is a totally wiped out civilization. I’m amazed at how people are sitting in their chairs whining while in full compliance with selling themselves out. Your compliance to your own demise is applaudable. Enjoy the accelerationism.
