Social media smack-down over civil liberties post

Well, our intention is to NEVER be the news, but hand it to Facebook! Guess we’ve made it because we made the liberal social media gods mad with our talk about individual liberties! We wear being singled out as a Badge of Honor. Our little news site is on the map, and we’ve joined the club!

Yesterday we published an article about how Colorado Democrats have announced new citizen control measures (you know what we mean, but Facebook hopefully won’t). In addition, we pointed out that they brought the #1 Citizen Control Congressman in from…yep…California!

Well, this obviously was of interest to you the reader and many of your Facebook friends, because 652 people (as of 3:30 am – Liberty NEVER sleeps) liked the post, and over 300 of you shared it. On the surface, this is a well-performing post.

However, Facebook has metrics behind the posts, like “Reach.” Reach is basically everyone who sees our post whether it’s on our page, on your page that someone views or someone that follows you sees it in their News Feed (this is where Facebook is the Master of The Universe). Well, Facebook clearly wasn’t letting this be seen in people’s News Feeds. This effects the Reach and Engagement numbers.

If you can see in the picture we posted, it says “4,150 People Reached” below “Like.” Again, this doesn’t sound too bad…until you compare it to our other posts.

We took note of this, and urged you guys to “Like,” “Share,” and invite friends to do the same because we felt Facebook was limiting the reach of the post due to the topic, and how quickly it was being shared and liked. This was when the post was approaching only 500 likes and 180 shares, and the “reach was at 4,083”.

You guys were awesome, and we’re truly humbled. You responded with another 150 likes and 120 shares. However, even with that increase, we only gained an additional 70 reach – that’s horrible. It’s clear, the more we tried to get this article out there, the more Facebook throttled down its reach.

Compare this to our post on the Union-hack-Liberal school teacher defaming a student by calling him a “Nazi” for his alleged conservative views. This post had a reach of 4,417 with 410 Likes and 160 Shares. We think this may have been throttled as well, social media doesn’t like We The People to call out liberals on their malarkey. That’s a larger reach with little over half of what our throttled post from yesterday got.

Then there was the article we posted a week ago about where to move, and a map of Blue States versus Red States. There were no Nazis, no civil liberties, just a “hey check this out”. This post had a mere 277 Likes and 152 shares, less than half of yesterday’s post. Can you guess what the reach was??? Yep, you guessed it!! 10,750!!! That’s more than double compared to yesterday’s post.

Yeah, we’re not the first conservatives to get the smack-down from liberal social media and we won’t be the last. This is why conservatives are angry and liberals don’t get it (They don’t get much – except our tax dollars!). There is no equity or fairness because these two concepts touted by liberals only apply to people who agree with them.

Let us not forget the time when Facebook thought the Declaration of Independence was hate speech and removed the post!

The great thing is that we’re still winning, even with both hands tied behind our back. Liberty never sleeps, and neither do we. The fight continues, let’s make our voices heard!

Please share, like, re-post, etc. on ALL of your social media platforms!

  1. Facebook is a technocracy with Marxist ideologies… Why we are all here is beyond me except for the fact that we are addicted to communications with one another. We must find a way to show FB OUR POWER… Make them hurt.
