We’re feeling a bit catty or maybe a little frisky today. So, when this article came across our desk (think something with a screen and keyboard), we had to write about it.
Remember when we wrote about how New York was trying to usurp the Constitutional/Common Law concept of Double Jeopardy (Click here)? We felt that NY was declawing citizens’ rights.
So, when we saw that NY is “protecting” kitty-cats’ rights to keep their claws, we saw the irony. Cats can keep their claws; citizens cannot. Cats can defend themselves, but we cannot defend ourselves from the overreach of government (Double Jeopardy, 2A, etc.).
Not happy at this one, and we’re barking at you New York, stop the insanity!
