Aurora, CO – Unelected bureaucrats are controlling Coloradans. The Tri-county Health Department orchestrated a lockdown of the counties surrounding the Denver Metropolitan Area.
The Tri-County Health Department Board is made up of nine unelected members. They are appointed by their respective county commissioners, and all live in their respective counties. Apparently, these people have the power to install regulations with the power of law.
A “Stay at Home” order is now in place for Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Douglas, and Jefferson counties. Take note, Boulder and Jefferson counties are following these regulations despite not being members of the Tri-county Health Department.
The board is made up of a relatively even split between Democrats, Republicans, and Unaffiliated voters (then again, we call them RINOs for a reason).
However, the Executive Team members appear to be entirely made up of Democrats and Unaffiliated voters, several of which changed their registration from Democrat in recent years.
The political elites are all connected
What is interesting, is Julie Mullica (wife of Representative Kyle Mullica) sits on this unelected board for Adams County. Rep. Kyle Mullica (D-Adams) is behind some of the most egregious legislation of the 2020 Colorado State Legislative session.
Mullica is a prime sponsor of the bill eliminating Columbus Day as a holiday in Colorado (signed by Governor Polis). He is also behind Polis-care (worse than Obamacare), gun control orders that criminalize citizens in their own homes, eliminating parental rights, and multiple other excessive regulations.
This is just ONE year of legislation Representative Kyle Mullica is sponsoring. But, at least he was elected…
Now, his wife and other unelected bureaucrats are in control of your right to leave your home.
These are the types of people who control our state, our freedom, and our liberty, and the buck stops with Governor Jared Polis.
You can bet he will sign every single one of Mullica’s bills that reach his desk. You can also bet he is 100 percent on board with the UNELECTED Mullica’s decision to confine (imprison) Coloradans in their homes.
If Polis, with his assumed powers as ruler of Colorado, does not agree with this egregious encroachment of Coloradan’s individual liberties, he should strike down these mandates.
