Some good news out of Colorado. Activists submitted what should be enough signatures to overturn the law passed by the extreme-far-left legislature last year.

The bill that voters may get a chance to vote on in November changes our great Electoral College system here in Colorado to a National Popular Vote. Liberal activists need 15 states to pass similar legislation to effect the 2020 election. We wrote about this during and after the legislative session (HERE), (HERE), (HERE), (HERE) and (HERE).

However, it isn’t universally popular amongst all democrats, because the Nevada Governor (a Dem) vetoed a similar bill earlier this year.

The Electoral College was another brilliant idea that has stood the test of time for hundreds of years. It ensures the most populated states don’t completely determine the outcomes of presidential elections. Colorado will become a “fly-over” state if this law isn’t overturned in November.
