Galindo blames “market forces” for loss of energy jobs

Currently on the floor is a nanny state bill that will put coal workers into a government subsidy program to help them transition into a new career.

How thoughtful of Democrats. They regulate these workers out of a job, and then they want to extend a helping hand for them to suckle the teat of the government.

When this bill first came out, we suspected, and predicted, that Democrats will more than likely try to do this same thing with oil and gas workers after they regulate the industry out of the state.

Well, Rochelle Galindo talked about that very thing yesterday on the floor.

Colorado House of Representatives – Rep Rochelle Galind0 on HB19-1314

This line of thinking is just insane and comes only a week after Galindo attacked her constituents on social media by calling them fake.

Democrats like Galindo want to control their constituents by putting families out of work in an industry that is responsible for Colorado’s economic boon.

“These jobs are going to be lost, because of market forces, market forces are basically going to move Colorado toward more renewable resources. That’s just a fact,” Galindo said.

Apparently, government regulations now count as market forces.

No, Galindo. Jobs will be lost due to Democrats regulating them out of existence.

Providing government handouts for lost jobs after mandating more renewable (less efficient) energy is simply a welfare gambit. One designed to make Democrats look like they care because they put a little bandaid on the gaping wound for which they are responsible.

An expensive bandaid paid for with your tax dollars.

For Democrats, the ends justify the means. And they will lie and cheat to get their way. Galindo is a sad excuse for a Representative, with a perverted sense of compassion.

Forcing energy workers out of a career is not compassion. Feeding them scraps from the government after forcing them out of work is not compassion.

Galindo should take a long look in the mirror and ask herself why she is the first legislator facing a recall.

  1. The only “market force” involved was democrats regulating businesses so people become out of work. This continues to trickle down to other business that supplied oil and gas with services as well as construction of homes since now these workers will relocate to WY, UT, ND… All this does is hurt business and the Colorado economy. But the democrats always have been about government representatives becoming the plantation owners with we the people being their slaves. Time for a revolution and recalls

  2. Agree 100% with this article. Democrats don’t represent they rule. They rule against us and control us by creating situations such as this to make people dependent on them. They think they are smarter than any one else and only they have the answers for our state and country. They are very sick people.

  3. She is a typical moronic Democrat legislature, who will be recalled. She knows nothing about the engine thayt drives Colorado’s great economy. I was told a few years back that if the coal industry fails in Colorado, it will cost the state over $9,000,000-,000. That is in lost jobs, lost income for industries that support the coal industry (railroads, trucking, heavy equipment, severance taxes,) There should be an in Telligent test administered before anyone can run for an office in Colorado. Well she won’t be in office long, same goes for a lot more democrats. This woman is so very ignorant.

  4. I only hope she realizes how many of her constituents HATE her and she lives the next two years knowing no body wants her as their HD50 representative
